We’re looking for a Senior AI Solutions Architect / Forward-Deployed AI Engineer to join the centralized Data & AI team of a global enterprise operating across multiple business units and legal entities. The company is building an internal AI Factory: a capability to design and deliver scalable AI solutions across its operating companies.
The approach to AI is pragmatic. Instead of applying generative AI everywhere, the team decides where deterministic automation is the right tool and where probabilistic AI adds measurable value. Most solutions combine business logic, data engineering, workflow automation, document processing, and targeted LLM capabilities, on top of an established Google Cloud data infrastructure.
This is a hybrid role: you talk to business stakeholders, design the solution, and build it yourself. It is not a purely advisory position. The first focus is finance, including a major global tax reporting and compliance initiative.
This is a full-time, long-term engagement (12+ months), with an expected start in January 2027.
Cloud & data: Google Cloud Platform, enterprise data platforms and data products
LLMs: Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude; OpenAI GPT where it fits better
AI engineering: LLM-powered applications, AI assistants, agentic and semi-autonomous workflows, document intelligence
Automation: deterministic workflow automation, rule-based processing, data transformation
Delivery: rapid prototyping, proofs of concept, evolving prototypes into production-ready solutions
You’ll be part of the centralized Data & AI team and work with business leaders, finance and tax subject matter experts, Data Engineers, the Principal Data Architect, enterprise architects, and teams from individual operating companies. In a forward-deployed model, you’ll be embedded with business stakeholders on specific initiatives while staying aligned with the central technical team. The team is expected to grow as demand for AI across operating companies increases.
We are committed to implementing high standards in the technology industry, and it is the fundamental mission of our work. To achieve this goal, the company and all its members are constantly evolving.
Each of us has the opportunity to contribute to the product, the company, the team, the industry, and our personal development. At Techstack, you have the option to choose from various growth opportunities that align with your interests:
- meetups, where you can share your knowledge and develop simultaneously by sharing your experiences within the company and local technical communities;
- roles such as a mentor or a technical lead. In any of these roles, you will assist junior professionals and share your knowledge and experiences with them.
- participation in our technical Guilds, where you can discuss technical solutions, approaches, and industry trends.
All of these elements contribute to shaping the culture and expertise within both our team and the company as a whole.
Run business and technical discovery with business leaders and subject matter experts; document current-state and future-state workflows.
Turn ambiguous business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
Decide whether a problem needs traditional engineering, deterministic automation, an LLM, an agentic workflow, or a hybrid.
Design end-to-end solutions combining enterprise data, business logic, automation, and AI, able to grow from prototype to production.
Build prototypes, proofs of concept, and initial versions of AI-enabled applications, and iterate on stakeholder feedback.
Select models (Gemini, Claude, GPT, smaller or specialized models) based on the use case, and avoid dependence on a single provider.
Keep critical calculations and operational rules deterministic, and use LLMs for classification, interpretation, summarization, and analysis, with validation and human-review mechanisms.
Work with Data Engineers: define data requirements and the structure of data products, and implement the application and AI layers that consume them.
Support finance and tax automation: US tax return preparation, global minimum tax, country-by-country reporting, and data consolidation across legal entities.
Build document classification and AI-assisted analytics: comparing results with historical data, anomaly detection, root-cause analysis.
Help stakeholders define realistic, measurable AI use cases and contribute reusable patterns to the Data & AI function.
Strong hands-on experience designing and developing AI-enabled applications, including integrating LLMs into business workflows.
Strong software engineering skills and the ability to build functional prototypes.
Experience designing end-to-end technical solutions, not just isolated AI components.
Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders: discovery sessions, requirements gathering, translating processes into technical specifications.
Ability to work independently when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous and drive a solution from discovery to initial implementation.
Experience combining deterministic application logic with probabilistic AI, and understanding of LLM limitations and validation strategies.
Practical experience with Google Gemini and/or Anthropic Claude, and understanding of model selection and evaluation for enterprise use.
Understanding of agentic AI architectures and workflow automation.
Good understanding of enterprise data architectures; experience integrating applications with structured datasets and enterprise systems; familiarity with cloud-based development.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Time zone: CET; overlap with US Eastern time is preferable.
Stable and long-term position in an experienced team.
Broad opportunities for professional and career growth, including professional challenges that encourage personal development, meetups, hackathons, professional communities, and more.
Horizontal connections and the absence of micromanagement foster a collaborative environment in which all team members are accessible to one another for any concerns.
Hubs in Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, and Wrocław (Poland), or everything necessary for remote work.
Up to 50% compensation for the cost of educational courses and conferences to support professional development.
Free English language and business English courses.
20 days off and 7 sick days to support your health and well-being.
Legal and accounting support.
Appreciation gifts for significant events and occasions.
Pre-screening with a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
English check.
Technical screening and evaluation with Techstack.
Interviews with the client.
