Marketing Manager

About the product

Intro

At Techstack, we help companies build, scale, and evolve software products that solve real business challenges. With clients across 15+ industries and an average partnership of over five years, we've built our reputation on long-term relationships and consistently high-quality delivery.

Marketing is one of the key drivers of our growth. It shows how Techstack is perceived in the market, how we attract new clients and top talent, and how we adapt to the changing search landscape. If you enjoy combining strategy, experimentation, and execution to create measurable business impact, you'll find plenty of opportunities here.

Your team

You will be the Marketing Manager at Techstack, working alongside a marketing teammate and leveraging a modern AI-powered toolkit to maximize efficiency and impact. You'll also partner closely with our website development team and collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Pre-Sales, Sales, and Design to build marketing strategies that drive business growth, strengthen our employer brand, and generate new opportunities.

You'll own the marketing strategy across our website, content, SEO, AI search visibility, sales enablement materials, and market insights. While remaining hands-on, you'll lead website development priorities and manage collaboration with the Design team to ensure a consistent, high-performing digital presence aligned with business goals.

The role reports directly to the CEO, giving you high visibility and the opportunity to influence company strategy. As you demonstrate impact and take ownership of the marketing function, you'll have a clear path to grow into the Head of Marketing role, leading the team, shaping the strategy, and owning the marketing budget.

Culture

We work against clear, data-driven KPIs rather than just activity, and we give people full ownership: you choose the approach, and we hold you accountable for the outcome.

It's a horizontal team with no micromanagement, and you'll have direct access to the CEO and Sales leadership.

We move fast on new ideas, including AI tools and automation, while keeping a human touch in everything we publish.

Your responsibilities

This role blends strategic ownership with hands-on execution: you won't just plan the marketing strategy, you'll build and run it yourself.

Strategic Marketing Leadership. You'll develop a data-driven marketing strategy aligned with Techstack's growth targets and translate regular market and competitor analysis into concrete decisions, from which AI-search topic clusters to prioritize to what goes on the content roadmap.

Brand Positioning and Consistency. You'll keep our brand consistent and credible across every surface clients and candidates see, including the website, content, and sales materials. Hence, it reflects both market expectations and who we actually are.

Lead Generation and Funnel Optimization. You'll build and run a cost-efficient inbound engine end-to-end: planning and publishing content, managing SEO and AI search visibility, and continuously testing what actually drives qualified opportunities.

Support of Sales and HR functions. You'll create the materials and presence that make Sales and HR more effective, from case studies, decks, and review-platform presence to content that supports recruitment campaigns and internal culture.

As you grow into the role of Head of Marketing: These same four areas scale with you. You'll own the company's full marketing strategy and brand positioning, lead a content strategy across the website, social media, and sales materials, manage the whole marketing team, including content, digital, product marketing, SEO, social media, and employer branding, and hold the marketing budget with a clear ROI focus.

It's about you

You already think and operate like a future Head of Marketing, not just someone who executes tasks - usually the result of 5+ years in marketing, though the evidence behind that judgment matters more than the years themselves.

Strategic Thinking. You can read market shifts, competitor moves, and customer behavior, and turn them into a marketing strategy connected to real company objectives, not just a list of tactics. You know how to prioritize high-leverage initiatives over quick wins, and you can hold short-term metrics like leads alongside longer-term brand value.

Business Acumen. You understand how marketing actually connects to revenue, margin, and customer retention, and you make decisions with that in mind rather than marketing for its own sake. You have a working sense of pricing, positioning, and customer acquisition costs.

Market Research & Analysis. You run competitive analysis and track industry trends as a habit, not a one-off project, and you validate messaging and positioning through research, such as customer interviews or benchmarking, rather than assumptions.

Data-driven Decision Making. You define clear KPIs for your own initiatives, such as CAC, MQL-to-SQL conversion, or channel ROI, use analytics tools to monitor what's working, and can communicate marketing performance to non-marketers in business terms, not just dashboards.

Customer-Centric Mindset. You build content and campaigns around a real understanding of customer needs and journeys, not generic best practices, and you know how to segment audiences meaningfully.

Cross-Functional Collaboration. You've worked closely with Sales, HR, or Product before, aligning marketing messaging with what they actually need, rather than operating in a marketing silo.

Leadership potential. You may not have managed a team yet, but you're ready to. You have real opinions about how you'd build and run a marketing function, and you want the responsibility that comes with it.

Hands-on execution. Alongside all of the above, you're comfortable doing the work yourself, including content, SEO, the website, and sales materials, since this role combines strategy with direct execution.

You speak Upper-Intermediate English or higher, since you'll write for an international audience and may join calls with English-speaking stakeholders.
