About the product
Intro
Our client is building a secure digital platform for remote orthopedic second opinions, focused on the Saudi Arabia market. The platform connects patients with licensed orthopedic specialists. Patients submit their medical cases, imaging files, and clinical data through a secure environment, and specialists provide formal written expert opinions.
The product includes three interfaces: a patient portal, a doctor dashboard, and an admin console. It integrates with Nafath identity verification and the Mada payment gateway, and handles DICOM medical imaging with anonymization compliance.
The platform is aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and is built for data security, regulatory compliance, and scalability - starting with web and extending to mobile.

Your team
You will join a cross-functional product team working on a real client project - an Orthopedic Second Opinion Platform for the Saudi Arabia market. The team includes: Solution Architect, Project Manager, QA Engineer, DevOps Engineer, and UX/UI Designer. You will work closely with the Architect on technical decisions and collaborate directly with the client through milestone sign-offs.
The team works in a structured delivery model with clear ownership, no micromanagement, and contractually tracked milestones.

Your responsibilities
Develop and maintain the patient portal, doctor dashboard, and admin console using React and NestJS.
Build and integrate a secure REST API for authentication, case management, document processing, messaging, and payments.
Implement external integrations - Nafath identity verification, Mada payment gateway, and DICOM anonymization pipeline.
Ensure bilingual platform support (Arabic RTL + English).
Collaborate closely with the Solution Architect and the team on technical decisions and system design.
Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making within the team.
It's about you
3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer with a focus on React and Node.js / NestJS.
Strong TypeScript skills - you write clean, maintainable, production-ready code.
Experience building and integrating REST APIs, including authentication, payment gateways, and external identity services.
Confident working with PostgreSQL - schema design, query optimization, migrations.
Understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure, Oracle Cloud, or similar platforms).
Experience with secure authentication flows (OAuth 2.0 / JWT).
You take full ownership of your part of the product - from writing code to the final result.
Comfortable working in a structured delivery model with contractual milestones.
Upper-Intermediate English or above.
Experience with Python is a plus.
Nice to Have:
Experience with bilingual or RTL interfaces is a plus.
DICOM or healthcare project experience is a plus.
