About the product


Our partner is an international manufacturing company that works with 300 of the world's largest brands in various markets. It has deep expertise in various industries: from the healthcare segment, smartphone and cloud computing to automobiles and home appliances.

Our product is the next generation of the UC (Unified Communication) product line to support audio and video streaming. From a BSP perspective, you will be involved in the creation of iOT hardware (boards) and support for product functionality.

Your responsibilities

Integrate and customize Android Open Source Project (AOSP) components into the target embedded system, ensuring compatibility and functionality.

Involvement in the development and optimization of the Android Board Support Package (BSP), adapting it for different hardware platforms.

Implementing and optimizing the Android Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) to bridge the gap between hardware and software components, facilitating seamless communication.

Develop and customize Linux kernel drivers to support hardware peripherals and functions.

Working with Linux Tree to ensure accurate representation and configuration of the embedded system hardware.

Develop and implement efficient and effective C/C++ software for embedded systems.

Manage the Android installation process initialize and configure Android software on target hardware to create a functional embedded system.

It's about you

Have 3+ years of experience in developing Android framework services, Android Native applications (JNI/NDK), and system applications (C++/Java).

Experienced in setting up Google AOSP and debugging issues within it.

Knowledgeable in Android HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) and Linux Device Tree development.

Proficient in version control tools like Git, Gerrit, and GitHub, as well as Android command-line tools like ADB and fast boot.

Have an Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency and above.

Will be a plus:

Experience in areas such as BSP/Board Support Package, Android/Linux kernel, bootloader, graphic and audio/video drivers.

Understanding of the Android security model (SE Linux policy).

In-depth knowledge of developing and configuring Linux-embedded device drivers (including optimization, bug fixing, and adding new functionality).
